Kristof de Backer

Kristof De Backer, PMP, is an experienced professional in project management and system engineering, currently serving as Project Manager for System Solutions at Yokogawa since September 2007, where responsibilities include DCS programming and project management for the process and food industries. Prior to this role, Kristof held various positions as a System Engineer at SPIE Belgium, Amecspie, AMEC SPIE, and ABAY TS from 2002 to 2007, developing expertise in system engineering. Kristof's career began at A.I.D.E. Consulting Engineers as a System Engineer and PLC programmer from 1997 to 2002. Educational qualifications include studies at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool and KIHA, along with a degree in Latijn-wiskunde from Sint-Michielscollege.
