Rafael Zemp

Rafael Zemp is the Chief Legal Officer at Yokoy and has over 17 years of experience working in the legal field. Rafael was previously with Walder Wyss Ltd. from May 2019 to July 2022 as a managing associate and attorney at law specializing in mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, and private equity. Prior to that, they were with Homburger from January 2016 to May 2019 as an attorney at law focusing on mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets. Zemp began their career as an attorney at law with Baker & McKenzie from January 2014 to January 2016, where they worked on mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions. Rafael also has experience in investment banking and private equity, having worked as an associate private equity / investment banker with Mesoamerica from January 2011 to December 2014. In addition, Zemp has experience as a board member and group general manager with Vidrios y Ventanas del Este (VIVENECA) from January 2006 to May 2013, where they were responsible for the general management of the company.

Rafael Zemp has a MBA from INSEAD, a Master's in Law from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, and a Bachelor's in European Law from Esade.
