Diogo Guimarães

Diogo Guimarães has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Diogo is currently the Chief Technology Officer and Technical Co-Founder at yolBe, where they are responsible for the overall technology vision and strategic IT planning. Diogo leads the software architecture and product development/implementation and is involved in all aspects of the business strategy and operations.

Prior to yolBe, Diogo worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Codementor, Barkyn, ABIHOME, Coodriver GmbH, and UpholdInc. At these companies, they contributed to the development of various mobile applications using technologies such as React Native, React, Redux, Javascript, and Swift. Diogo also worked on iOS application development projects and was involved in designing and developing software development kits (SDKs) and frameworks.

Before that, they held positions at Altran, Ahold, Morrisons, and Wipro Limited, where they gained experience in implementing Oracle Retail solutions and e-commerce solutions. Diogo was involved in various responsibilities such as application management, system analysis, process design, and technical development.

Diogo Guimarães obtained a Master's degree in IT and Computer Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, completing their studies from 2006 to 2011. In 2009, they also pursued a degree in English, specifically the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), at the British Council in Porto. Additionally, Diogo acquired various certifications such as Store Operations from Wipro Retail in December 2012, Understanding Retail from Martek International in July 2012, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from Franklin Covey in March 2012, ORSIM Fundamentals from Wipro Retail in November 2011, and Oracle Forms from Wipro Retail in October 2011.
