George Tountas

George Tountas is a seasoned professional in information security and technology advisory, currently serving as Senior Manager of Information Security Management at SES Satellites since June 2018. At SES, George leads a team that develops and promotes information security policies and supports the implementation of the organization's Cyber Security strategy certified with ISO27001. Additionally, George has experience as a Partner and Technology Advisor at Yollty, and as Senior IT Audit Manager at RTL Group, where responsibilities included conducting global IT audits and overseeing the implementation of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms. Previously, at EY, George managed advisory services for major telecom providers, specializing in revenue assurance and information security. Academic credentials include an MSc in Information Security from UCL and a BSc in Technology Education & Digital Systems from the University of Piraeus.
