Gopinath Govindaraj

Gopinath Govindaraj is an accomplished project management professional with extensive experience in establishing operational frameworks and governance for project management. Currently serving as the Head of PMO & Delivery at Yoma Bank since January 2023, Gopinath is responsible for setting project management standards and creating a Centre of Excellence. Previously, Gopinath held various roles at Huawei Technologies from November 2013 to January 2023, including Consultant - Project & Portfolio Management, ICT Project Manager, and PMO Lead - Deputy Project Manager, where notable achievements included leading project teams, managing business process automation projects for telecom clients in Myanmar, and enhancing delivery processes. Prior to that, Gopinath worked as a PMO Associate at Huawei Technologies India, supporting end-to-end project management operations. Gopinath holds a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, earned between 2007 and 2011.
