Debbie Alamrew

Debbie Alamrew has been working in the communications field since 2008, beginning with an Office Assistant role at the University of Texas at Arlington. Debbie then moved on to become a Foreclosure Prevention Specialist at Nationstar Mortgage in 2011. In 2013, they held two concurrent roles as an Executive Assistant at Maine Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and an Office Assistant at the University of Maine School of Law. Later that year, they were a Summer Associate at the Law Office of Emily Horton PLLC. In 2015, they began working as a Freelance Writer/Editor and continued in this role until 2019 when they became the Director of Communications at Amplify Africa Inc. Debbie is currently a Communications Manager at Yoni Circle.

Debbie Alamrew received their Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law between 2012 and 2015. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of North Texas in 2011. Debbie also attended The University of Texas at Arlington, though no degree was obtained.
