Li Yan

Li Yan is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in oncology and clinical development. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Peking University School of Medicine since 2006 and at Yonsei University since 2015, Li Yan has held significant leadership roles, including Chief Medical Officer at Brii Biosciences from April 2018 to June 2023, and as a member of the board at MATWIN from 2015 to April 2018. Previous positions include Vice President and Head Unit Physician for Oncology R&D at GSK from March 2014 to April 2018, Executive Director and Head of Clinical Development at Merck from 2011 to March 2014, and Director of Global Oncology Clinical Development at Merck & Co., Inc. from 2007 to 2011. Li Yan's earlier career includes key roles at Centocor, Johnson and Johnson, and Children's Hospital Boston, specializing in anti-cancer therapies. Li Yan holds an MD from Peking University School of Medicine and a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Kansas Medical Center.
