Danny Keens has extensive work experience in various roles within the media, sports, and entertainment industries. Danny is currently the Head of Partnerships at YOOM since August 2021. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Galvanized Ventures Inc, where they partnered with global media, music, sports, and entertainment companies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.

Before Galvanized Ventures, Danny was with LIMINAL Space from June 2019 onwards. From 2016 to 2020, they held key positions at NextVR, starting as the Vice President of Content and then promoted to the Senior Vice President of Content, Production & Programming. In these roles, they led content strategy, acquisition, production, and programming for the media technology platform, successfully increasing user engagement and retention. Danny also built and led a team responsible for strategic content partnerships with major sports leagues, media, and entertainment companies worldwide.

Prior to NextVR, Danny worked at Twitter from 2013 to 2016, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Sports Partnerships, North America, and later became the Chairperson of Global Television. In these roles, they worked with iconic sports leagues and broadcasters, driving innovation through digital video technology. Danny also oversaw the digital video strategy and led international production house and broadcaster partnerships.

Before Twitter, Danny worked as a Senior Producer at 60 MINUTES, producing numerous feature news documentary reports. Danny was responsible for content development, production management, and overseeing film crews.

Earlier in their career, Danny was a Studio Live & Feature Producer at ESPN, overseeing the daily production of "Sportscenter" for an international audience. Danny also worked as a Supervising Producer at Nine, managing the newsroom and producing high-profile television programs.

From 1996 to 1998, Danny Keens attended Charles Sturt University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology/Technician.
