Michal Skoury

Michal Skoury has extensive work experience in various roles related to algorithm development and computer vision. In 2008, they began their career as an Advanced Military Technologies Operator in the Israel Defense Forces, where they operated advanced military technologies and worked with leading industry companies. In 2010, they were promoted to Commanding Officer, leading a team of 30 soldiers.

In 2014, Skoury joined Rafael Advanced Defense Systems as a Computer Vision Algorithm Developer, where they worked until 2016. Michal then joined CEVA, Inc. in 2017 as an Imaging & Computer Vision Developer, contributing until 2019.

Most recently, in 2023, Skoury joined YOOM as a Senior Algorithm Developer.

Michal Skoury completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016. Following this, from 2019 to 2022, Michal pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics & Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
