Jörg Wasmeier

Jörg Wasmeier has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2006, they began working as a Senior Web Developer for various companies, including Microsoft, HP, and EnBW, where they specialized in programming interactive web and exhibition applications. During this time, they continuously updated their skills to stay competitive in the market. In 2014, they co-founded and managed a GmbH called faba network GmbH, which aimed to solidify and legally establish a large-scale project. Jörg then worked as a Full Stack Engineer at ShopCo in 2015 and as the Technical Director at the seed e.g. from 2006 to 2011, where they were responsible for the technological direction of the company. In 2017, Jörg joined Appetita as the CTO, focusing on streamlining restaurant service through a virtual waiter platform. In 2018, they founded cutting edge GmbH, where they served as the CEO. Jörg'smost recent role is as the Founder and CTO of Yoordi - Scan Order Pay, a hospitality service that allows guests to order and pay with their smartphones, aiming to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.

Jörg Wasmeier completed their education from 2002 to 2005 at VirtualMinds, where they pursued a degree in Ausbildung Fachinformatiker / Anwendungsentwicklung. Beyond their formal education, Jörg also obtained additional certifications. In April 2017, they completed a program in Entrepreneurship and Business Creation at ZHAW School of Management and Law. Additionally, in December 2017, they became an alumni of F10 Incubator & Accelerator. Most recently, in November 2021, Jörg obtained a certification from Kickstart Innovation Accellerator, which they completed alongside Yoordi.
