Mike Chon

Mike Chon has extensive work experience in the engineering and construction industry. mike started their career at Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. as a Researcher from October 2004 to August 2009.

In 2013, Mike joined Yooshin Engineering Corp. as the Vice President of Overseas Development & Corporate Planning. mike then became the General Manager of the Overseas Development Department in the same company. mike'sresponsibilities included master planning, feasibility studies, design, construction supervision, and operational management of various civil and environmental projects related to airports, roads, railways, water resources, and urban planning.

Mike held these positions at Yooshin Engineering Corp. from November 2013 to March 2020.

Mike Chon earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University in 2002. mike then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Structural Engineering/Project Management at Cornell University, which they completed in 2004. Following this, Mike Chon attended The University of Tokyo from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Construction Management, Knowledge Management, and Organizational Behavior.
