Claire Gavaghan currently serves as the Chair of the EAL Advisory Group at EAL Awards, leading initiatives to shape the organization's strategy in providing engineering skills. Claire has extensive experience in skills and employability, holding the position of Vice Chair on the Skills & Employability Board at York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership since June 2019 and serving as CEO of Derwent Training Association since January 2019. Additionally, Claire is a Director at Murphy James Associates Ltd, an educational consultancy firm, and has held several managerial roles related to quality assurance and improvement in various educational institutions. Claire holds an MA in Education and a Diploma in Management Studies from The Open University.
