Michael Szornyi

Michael Szornyi is an experienced professional in the field of maintenance and capital project management, currently serving as the Maintenance & Capital Projects Controller for the York Catholic District School Board since April 2004. In this role, Michael oversees the ongoing maintenance operations and capital projects for more than 100 buildings, including high schools, elementary schools, and administrative facilities in York Region, Ontario. Prior to this position, Michael held plant engineering roles at Solectron Invotronics from October 2001 to April 2004 and at Invotronics Manufacturing, a division of Magna International, from October 1999 to October 2001. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from the Polytechnic Institute Cluj Napoca in Romania.
