Johnathan Gilbert

Johnathan Gilbert is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as the Sergeant of the Community Engagement Team at York County Sheriff's Office since January 2022, following roles as Corporal and Community Relations Liaison. Prior to this, Johnathan worked at Fort Mill Police Department from May 2006 to January 2022, where responsibilities included Community Resource Officer, School Resource Officer, and Patrol Officer. Johnathan's career began as a Probation Officer at The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services from February 2005 to May 2006. Academically, Johnathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, both earned from Winthrop University between 2000 and 2004.
