Sarah C King

Sarah C King is an experienced curator and researcher in natural sciences, currently serving as the Curator of Natural Sciences at York Museums Trust since December 2013. Previously, Sarah worked as a Collections Facilitator at Yorkshire Museum and has extensive voluntary experience in museum work focusing on geological and natural history specimens. Sarah's academic credentials include a PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Birmingham, complemented by an MSc in Palaeobiology from the University of Bristol and an MSci in Geoscience from Royal Holloway, University of London. Additional roles include postdoctoral researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Birmingham, along with positions in visitor assistance and geophysical data project management.
