Gene Cowell

Gene Cowell has a diverse work experience in the real estate and commercial brokerage industry. Gene started their career as a Mortgage Lending Officer at South Carolina National Bank in 1974. Gene later worked as a Real Estate Manager at Mercantile Stores Company, Inc. before joining Fleet Funding as Vice President & Manager in 1983. In 1985, they became a Commercial Broker Associate at The Adaron Group, Inc. and then served as Commercial Broker-In-Charge at The Cowell Company from 1987 to 1992. Gene joined Carolantic Realty, Inc. in 1992 as a Commercial Broker Associate. Currently, they are working at York Properties, Inc. as Vice President, Brokerage, Land & Retail Properties, a role they have held since 2001. Gene'snotable transactions include representing various clients in the sale and purchase of properties, including mixed-use developments, retail centers, fuel centers, and self-storage sites, among others. Gene is a licensed real estate agent and is a member of professional organizations such as the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Triangle Association of Realtors.

Gene Cowell obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
