Brian Kreps

Brian Kreps currently serves as the Director of Housing Strategy & Program Delivery at York Region since May 2024. Previously, Brian held the position of Manager of Social Housing at the City of Hamilton from July 2018 to May 2024, where leadership of the Social Housing team was a key responsibility. Brian's experience also includes roles such as Senior Advisor for Human Services Integration at the Region of Peel and Advisor for Housing and Homelessness at the City of Hamilton. Other positions held include Manager of Emergency Shelters and Residential Care Facilities and Manager of Policy and Research for the Ontario Municipal Social Services Association. Brian Kreps holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Manchester University, a Master of Arts in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Master of Public Administration from Western University.
