Deborah Carr

Deborah Carr, CHE, currently serves as the Supervisor of Infectious Diseases Control Surveillance, Outbreaks, & Immunization at York Region since June 2020, where responsibilities include managing outbreak response initiatives and supervising teams in emergency situations. Prior to this role, Deborah held various positions such as Clinical Manager at Behaviour Innovations, Quality Improvement and Education Advancement Navigator at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, and Lean Change Agent at Youth Services. Deborah's experience also encompasses working as a Senior Epidemiologist & Biostatistician at Global Research Solutions Inc., and an Epidemiologist at Oxford County, focusing on public health program evaluation and infectious disease management. An academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Epidemiology from Western University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from McMaster University.
