John Kazilis

John Kazilis has over a decade of experience in transportation development planning and management, currently serving as Manager of Transportation Development Planning and Rapid Transit at York Region since 2010. In addition to this primary role, John also takes on the responsibilities of Manager, Transportation Long-Term Planning. Previous positions include Senior Advisor, Planner, and Associate Planner at York Region, as well as Strategic Plan Annual Progress Report Project Lead at the Town of Georgina and Planning Assistant at the Town of Wasaga Beach. John holds an MBA Essentials for Managers from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, a Master of Public Administration in Local Government Management from Western University, and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Honours Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo.
