Jovita Scieranski

Jovita Scieranski, CPA, CGA, has extensive experience in financial management and analysis, currently serving as Program Manager for Financial Services & Business Planning at York Region since June 2015. Responsibilities at York Region include managing financial activities related to budget preparation, financial reporting, capital projects, and forecasting. Prior to York Region, Jovita held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at the Region of Peel from August 2001 to June 2015, providing financial support to Health Services and Human Services departments, analyzing budgets, funding, and financial reports, and ensuring compliance with provincial requirements. Earlier experience includes a Financial Analyst role at Homestarts Incorporated. Jovita holds a CPA, CGA designation and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Toronto Metropolitan University.
