Krista Richards

Krista Richards is a seasoned health promotion professional with extensive experience in program management and community health. Since May 2017, Krista has held various roles at York Region, currently serving as Manager of Child & Family Health after previously working as Program Manager and Health Promoter. Prior experience includes teaching health promotion courses at George Brown College, and serving as a Health Promoter at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services, where Krista developed health programs, engaged community stakeholders, and addressed systemic health inequities. Additionally, Krista's background includes work at Toronto Public Health, and North York Community House, focusing on health education for diverse populations. Krista holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
