Nelson Lau

Nelson Lau has extensive experience in real estate and planning, currently serving as Supervisor of Realty Services at York Region since July 2011, following roles as a Senior Real Estate Appraiser/Negotiator. Prior to this, Nelson worked as a Real Estate Officer for the Regional Municipality of Niagara from January 2010 to July 2011 and as a Real Estate Portfolio Agent with the Colorado State Land Board from April 2006 to September 2008. Earlier experience includes positions as a Community Development Planner for the City of Aurora, Colorado, and Planning Manager for the City of Cocoa. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo, earned between 1994 and 1998.
