Salim Alibhai

Salim Alibhai is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades in the field of civil engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Capital Planning and Delivery at Transportation Services, The Regional Municipality of York since November 2005, Salim leads a team of 60 in the design and execution of road projects within York Region. Prior roles include Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Earth Tech Canada Inc., as well as positions at Entec-Shankland Cox Ltd., Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick & Partners, and Howard Humphreys (Tanzania) Ltd. Salim holds a BSc.(Eng.) Honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam, obtained in 1988.
