Tushar Patel

Tushar Patel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations planning and support within public works, currently serving as the Manager of Operations Planning and Support at York Region since June 2011. Tushar oversees the development and administration of the York Region Processing Centre for automated enforcement charges, while providing leadership to the Roads Infrastructure management program. Previous positions include Manager of Roads Operations, Co-Chair of Multisite Joint Health and Safety, and various district-level roles in roads operations. Tushar's academic qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from Western University, an Executive Diploma in Municipal Management from AMCTO, and additional certifications in workplace mental health leadership and process management, alongside a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Seneca Polytechnic.
