Andre Caron

Andre Caron is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in software engineering and education. At Optum, Andre contributed to a mail-order pharmacy system by enhancing features and improving efficiency while utilizing Agile practices and GitHub for code management. Prior to this, Andre spent over two decades as a teacher and tutor at various educational institutions, instructing high school math and coaching extracurricular activities. In earlier roles, Andre served as a systems engineer at Electronic Data Systems, where notable contributions included the development of CAD/CAM programs for General Motors, and as a software engineer at Compusec, leading a team for military communication system security verification. Andre holds a Certificate in Full-Stack Web Development from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Oakland University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University.
