Joan Walton

Joan Walton is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at York St John University since January 2015, and has served as a Doctoral Supervisor and Director of the Centre for Child, Family and Society at Liverpool Hope University since 2009. Joan Walton holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Action Research from the University of Bath, an M Soc Sci in Race and Education from the University of Birmingham, a Diploma in Social Work and Certificate in Qualification for Social Work also from the University of Birmingham, and a BA (Hons) in Social Theory & Institutions from Bangor University.
