Sarah Lawson Welsh

Sarah Lawson Welsh is a Professor of Global Literatures at York St John University, where responsibilities include teaching Literature and Theory at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, as well as supervising research students. With extensive teaching experience spanning various institutions, including the University of Northampton and the University of Warwick, Sarah has published numerous works in Caribbean, black British, postcolonial literatures, and Food Studies. Academic qualifications include a BA Hons in English and American Literature from the University of Kent and a PhD in Caribbean Studies from the University of Warwick.
