Karen Wong

Karen Wong is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in the retail and technology sectors. As the President, Co-Founder, and CEO of TAKU Retail since March 2018, Karen is focused on creating a unified retail commerce platform for mid-market merchants, addressing modern consumer expectations. Previously, Karen founded and led ACE POS Solutions Ltd. as CEO, providing innovative retail point-of-sale systems. Karen has engaged as a mentor in various entrepreneurial programs, including YSpace at York University and ELLA Women YU, and has been recognized as a top finalist in the Tech Accelerator and an alumni of Next Founders. Karen holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Schulich School of Business and a BA in Political Science and Economics from McGill University.
