Marlina Ramchandran

Marlina Ramchandran has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marlina currently works at YSpace, York University as a Project Lead for later stage entrepreneur programs and a Program Officer. Marlina has also served as an Entrepreneurship Program Manager and Officer at the same company. Prior to that, Marlina worked as a Mentoring Coach at JVS Toronto, where they were responsible for mentoring recruitment and engagement. Marlina also played a key role in designing and launching a new online mentoring platform. Marlina has also worked as a National Program Manager and Regional Manager at Wadhwani Foundation, where they focused on capacity building, startup support, and managing various projects. Marlina started their career as an Office Manager and Education Counsellor at Study Overseas, where they handled visa applications for students and provided guidance for international studies. Marlina also has experience as a Marketing Manager at Kotak Life Insurance and as an Education Counsellor at IDP Education Pty Ltd. Marlina began their professional journey as a Management Trainee at Holiday Inn Express.

Marlina Ramchandran completed their education at various institutions. Marlina obtained an MBA degree in Marketing from Gujarat University from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they received a BA degree in English from St. Xavier's College between 1996 and 1999. Before entering college, Marlina attended Hesperia High School in California from 1995 to 1996. Marlina completed their XIth grade at St. Xavier's High School Gandhinagar in 1994, majoring in physics and chemistry. Marlina's foundational education took place at Mt Carmel High School, where they completed their Xth grade from 1982 to 1994.
