Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles within the information systems field. Christopher is currently the Senior Vice President - Information Systems Manager at Yosemite Farm Credit, ACA, a role they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President - Information Systems Manager from January 2015 to January 2021, and as the Assistant Vice President - Information Systems Manager from June 2013 to January 2015. Christopher initially joined Yosemite Farm Credit, ACA as a Data Systems Administrator in May 2010, and held this position until June 2013.

Before their time at Yosemite Farm Credit, ACA, Christopher worked as a Technical Support Representative at Petz Enterprises from November 2009 to February 2010. Christopher provided software and hardware support for Crosslink Software, a tax preparation solution.

Earlier in their career, Christopher worked as a Commercial Driver at Werner Enterprises for a brief period from September 2009 to November 2009. Christopher also gained experience as a Systems Administrator at Basic Resources, Inc. from April 2006 to March 2009, where they maintained a core network of over 200 users and computers.

Christopher started their career as a Network Engineer at Adtech Computers, where they provided on-site service for IT-related issues from May 2003 to April 2006. Christopher also served as a Network Administrator at the non-profit organization Economic & Social Opportunities from January 2002 to August 2002, where they successfully administered a Windows NT Network.

Christopher Smith attended the Computer Tutor Business and Technical Institute in 2000, where they obtained an MCSE degree in Computer Administration. In the same year, they also obtained a certification in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE) from Microsoft, as well as a CompTIA A+ certification. In 2009, they attended Western Truck School and obtained a Class A Commercial License for driving. Christopher has also obtained additional certifications in leadership development and managing for results from FCC Services, and Leadership Breakthrough One from Rapport Leadership International, in 2016, 2013, and 2019 respectively.
