Omer Savion

Omer Savion is a Back End Developer at Yotpo, specializing in the development of scalable end-to-end data streaming solutions utilizing Kafka, Apache Flink, and Elasticsearch. In this role since March 2021, Omer has focused on architecture redesigns, performance monitoring, and cost-reduction efforts. Prior to this, Omer served as a Full Stack Developer at Yotpo, where accomplishments included developing an Angular Backoffice SPA and optimizing frontend performance to enhance customer satisfaction. Omer's earlier experience includes serving as a Deputy Commander in Israeli Military Intelligence, leading an elite intelligence unit and mentoring younger soldiers. Omer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and completed high school with a focus on Computer Science and Physics.
