Johnny Vaquiz

Johnny Vaquiz has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Johnny started their career as a Computer Operations Intern at Brinker International in 2005. Johnny then worked as a Level 3 Support for WebSphere and WebServices Intern at IBM in 2007. Later that year, they joined the ITS Help Desk Center at the University of Texas at Austin as a Help Desk Consultant.

In 2008, Johnny joined National Instruments as a Programmer Analyst/Developer II. In this role, they contributed to three global company upgrades and implemented a workflow-driven web application that improved data management efficiency. Johnny also programmed multiple features in a web application that enhanced the testing process for R&D users.

Johnny joined Bazaarvoice in 2012 and took on various roles. Johnny started as an Implementation Engineer and then became an Implementation Project Manager, managing multiple implementation projects for different clients. Johnny then took on the role of Services Architect/Technical Services Consultant, where they provided technical consultation and implemented best practices to optimize client solutions. In 2015, they served as a Technical Implementation Project Manager, proving the efficiency gains of a hybrid role. In 2017, they became an Enterprise Pre-sales Solutions Consultant, and in 2020, they were promoted to Senior Enterprise Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant.

In 2020, Johnny joined Canva as the Lead for Global Enterprise Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer. Johnny held this role until 2023 when they joined Yottaa as a Senior Account Executive.

From 2003 to 2008, Johnny Vaquiz attended The University of Texas at Austin where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science with Business Foundations Certification.
