Verena Funke

Verena Funke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate travel and customer solutions. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Travel at Lufthansa City Center since July 2025 and as the Vice President of Global Customer Solutions at yoummday since May 2023, Verena has a proven track record in global sales and management. Previous roles include Vice President of International Sales Management and Executive Director of Global Corporate Sales Management at SIXT, as well as a prolonged tenure at Egencia, where positions ranged from Sr. Director of Global Account Management EMEA to Managing Director for various regions. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Operations at Expedia from April 2002 to May 2010.
