Young Authors Publishing was founded in 2018 & in 2023, YAP was combined with Muse Inc. Today Young Authors Publishing is an imprint under Muse. 

YAP is a children’s book publisher that exists to share the stories of Black & Brown Gen Zers. We believe in writing our future. That's why we're switching up the narrative, publishing books for children and young adults that reflect how diverse our world is. We're on a mission to empower the authors of tomorrow, using their words to change the dialogue around representation in literature. We're the next generation of publishing here to start a movement through our books of change.
