Elly Leman

Elly Leman currently serves as the Director of Programs & Institutional Giving at Young Chicago Authors, a position held since August 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Director of Institutional Giving and Director of Institutional and Corporate Giving at Mikva Challenge, where Elly managed relationships with over 50 funders nationwide and developed corporate sponsorship opportunities. Previous positions encompass Program Manager & Lead Coach at Success Bound, where Elly implemented sustainability plans in Chicago Public Schools, and roles at the Metropolitan Planning Council, SGA Youth & Family Services, AUSL, KIPP Chicago, and Urban Prep Academies, showcasing a robust background in program management, partnership development, and educational support. Elly holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Social Service Professions from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Growth and Structure of Cities from Bryn Mawr College.
