Phil Banfield has a diverse work experience in various industries. Phil founded VentureField Consulting in 2008 and served as CEO, developing and executing successful commercial growth and transformation strategies for global and local companies. Phil has expertise in biosciences, pharma, FMCG, CPG, medical, health and beauty, hotels and spas, financial payments, retail, and publishing. Phil also worked at The Helix Consultancy as a Strategy and Commercial Transformation Consultant starting in 2009. Phil joined Young Foodies in 2019 as an Associate Commercial Consultant and Performance Facilitator. Phil has been a Mentor at Virgin StartUp since 2022 and a Career Coach and Mentor at the University of Surrey since 2020. Additionally, they have experience as a Mountain Leader at Mountain Training since 2022. Phil is also the Founder and CEO of Alexander Rigby Estates Ltd, which specializes in flexible office space and quality residential properties. Phil held the role of CCO, Advisor, and Investor at CafePod from 2021 to 2022, leading the commercial team across various channels.

Phil Banfield has a diverse educational background. In 1989, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Southampton. Following this, in 1992, they completed their CPE (Chester) degree in Law at The University of Law. In 1993, they pursued further legal studies and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kingston University.

In 1999, Phil enrolled at Cambridge Marketing College and earned a CIM Advanced Certificate in Marketing by 2001. Moving forward, in 2009, they attended The Business Coaching Foundation and completed an Advanced Certificate in Business Coaching from ILM.

Phil's education continued in more recent years. In 2018, they attended the Digital Marketing Institute and obtained a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing in 2019. In the same year, they also acquired the title of Super Hero Coach from The Ministry of Inspiration Limited.

Looking at their additional certifications, Phil obtained a Rescue Emergency Care certification from Remote Emergency Care Limited in 2022. Additionally, they hold a degree called the ML Award from Mountain Training, which they pursued from 2021 to 2022.
