Emma van Nieuwenhuizen currently serves as a Military Working Student at Defensity College, a position begun in April 2024, where Emma aims to enhance the connection between students in the Netherlands and the military. As a freelance photographer since January 2024, Emma showcases work through an online platform. Emma is also an ambassador for the Young Lady Business Academy since June 2022, participating in its ninth edition. Previous experience includes roles at Leiden University as a student assistant in the Career Service and as a videographer creating a documentary on youth in the criminal circuit. Emma's early work includes positions in retail and hospitality, along with involvement in various initiatives related to youth and community services. Emma is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Security Studies at Leiden University, having previously studied Global Management of Social Issues at Tilburg University and Leisure Management at Willem de Kooning Academy.

De Young Lady Business Academy is in 2017 opgericht door zakenvrouw Elske Doets om het zelfvertrouwen en zelfbewustzijn van jonge, ambitieuze vrouwen in Nederland naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Met als belangrijk nevendoel dat meer sleutelposities in de publieke en private sector uiteindelijk door vrouwen worden ingenomen. En er een grotere diversiteit aan mensen de directiekamers van Nederland gaat bevolken. Heb jij ambitie om een succesvolle onderneemster, executive, zakenvrouw of politica te worden en ben jij tussen de 15 en 25 jaar? Schrijf je dan in voor de gratis Young Lady Business Academy.
