Rick Mayer

Rick Mayer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development, sales, and marketing. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Milwaukee Rescue Mission since August 2019, Rick oversees grant writing, major donor relations, and strategic event planning. As a founding Board Director and active board member of Ozaukee County Young Life since 2011, Rick contributed significantly to the organization’s establishment. Rick's previous roles include Sales Executive at DePuy Spine, where business revenue grew from $250K to $2 million, and Account Executive at Medtronic Spine & Biologics, increasing annual business from $1 million to $4.5 million. Rick's career began at J&J Ethicon Endo-Surgery, where multiple leadership roles included Division Sales Manager, Training Division Manager, and Sales Development Manager, resulting in substantial sales growth and training initiatives. Rick's early experience as a Senior Sales Representative at Xerox solidified a strong sales foundation. Rick holds dual BBA degrees in Marketing and Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wisconsin School of Business.
