Emily Crowe Sobotko

Emily Crowe Sobotko is an experienced music educator currently serving as Senior Manager of Music Programs at Uncommon Schools since 2017, with a history of roles including Music Programs Manager, Instructional Leader (Music), and Founding Elementary Music Teacher. Sobotko is also active as Associate Conductor of the Treble Ensemble at Young New Yorkers' Chorus and Choir Director at The Brooklyn New School. Previous experience includes serving as Choral Director at REACH, Corps Member with Teach For America, Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Metropolitan Lighthouse Charter School, and Choral Arts Teacher at the American School of Doha. Sobotko holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Music from Lawrence University.
