Young People in Recovery
Dante Downey has developed a diverse skill set through various roles in the community and workforce. Currently serving as the Chapter Lead for Young People in Recovery since August 2020, Dante previously gained experience as a Warehouse Associate at Southwest Farm Fresh Cooperative and as a Youth Advocate at The Piñon Project Family Resource Center. Additionally, a brief tenure as a Retail Assistant at Run and Hike occurred in March 2018. Dante completed high school education at Montezuma-Cortez High School, graduating in 2020.

Vision: YPR envisions a world where everyone can access the necessary resources to recover from substance use disorder and associated high-risk behaviors. Mission: YPR’s mission is to provide the training and networks all individuals, families, and communities need to recover and maximize their full potential.
