Young People in Recovery
Jessica Elgin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program leadership and advocacy, currently serving as Vice President of Programs at Young People in Recovery since June 2022, where responsibilities include organizational vision support, programmatic excellence, and relationship management for fundraising. Prior roles include Program Director for the Pit River Tribe, focusing on advocacy for victims of domestic violence, Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and Youth Services Specialist at the Colorado Department of Human Services. Additional experience encompasses roles as Emergency Services Coordinator with the City and County of Denver and Area Director with AuPairCare. Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Humboldt State University, and an A.A.S. in Behavioral & Human Sciences from the College of the Redwoods.
