Jacob Thigpen

Jacob Thigpen is an experienced professional with a background in sales engineering, marketing, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Sales Engineer for Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, Jacob supports the LOCALiQ team in developing marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies for various businesses. Active in the community, Jacob holds multiple leadership roles with the Young Professionals of Augusta, including Board Member At Large, Vice President, and Co-Membership Chair, while also representing The Augusta Chronicle as an Ambassador for the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce. Previous positions include marketing roles at WJBF News Channel 6 and the Family YMCA of Greater Augusta, along with experience in retail management and social media coordination. Jacob completed a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Augusta University.
