Shannon Sombar

Shannon Sombar is an experienced accountant currently working at Xytex since September 2018 and serving as the Treasurer for Young Professionals of Augusta since January 2021. Prior experience includes a position as Staff Accountant at Anderson & Adkins, CPA, where responsibilities involved general account analysis and reconciliations, processing journal entries, and preparing payroll tax returns. Shannon also worked as a Finance Co-Op/Account Manager at Textron Specialized Vehicles, managing over 150 customer accounts and developing reports for senior management. Educational accomplishments include ongoing online master's studies in Accounting at Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Augusta University.
