About Young SIETAR:

Young SIETAR is an international, member run, non profit organization without borders or regional chapters. We exist as a global community connected by shared curiosity, commitment, and care for intercultural learning.

Young SIETAR supports a new and emerging generation of interculturalists, including students, early career professionals, and those new to the field. Through diverse activities and learning spaces, we help bridge today’s experienced practitioners with those shaping the future of intercultural work.

By using digital tools and global collaboration, Young SIETAR creates a vibrant virtual community that complements real world connection. This allows members to engage across distances, exchange knowledge, and co create local, transnational, and global initiatives together.

Our Vision:

We aim to bridge established professionals, newcomers, and key partners by working collaboratively and virtually to advance both theory and practice in intercultural competence. Diversity, inclusion, reflection, and innovation sit at the heart of everything we do.

Our Mission:

Young SIETAR provides a platform where interculturalists can grow professionally and personally by turning ideas into practice. We share experiences, best practices, and learning opportunities that support our members and partners in their intercultural projects.

We are built on the belief that difference is a strength. We respect and value cultural diversity, continuously reflect on our actions, and remain open to learning. Through collaboration with partners and like minded communities, we contribute to stronger intercultural understanding worldwide.
