The Young Stroke Service (YSS) is a digitally-supported, integrated, outpatient service, established to fill critical gaps in care for young people with stroke.

Almost 1 in 4 of all strokes in Australia are in young people. Often young people do not get the right diagnosis or help they need. 

A shocking 88% of young people with stroke say they have unmet needs.  The Young Stroke Service (YSS) wants to change this.  

This pilot service is funded by an Australian Government Medical Research Future Fund Rapid Translation Grant.
