Keshia J.

Keshia J. has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Beginning in 2006, they worked a summer job at BASF before completing their BSc internship at Heesen Yachts in 2007. Keshia then served as a student-assistant in Marketing and Communications at TU Delft from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they also worked as a commissioner for the "Boegbeeld" magazine, honing their communication and teamwork skills. In 2010, they took on an MSc internship at Boeckmans Nederland b.v., where they gained experience in ship finance and general cargo vessel investment. From 2011 to 2015, Keshia worked as an MSc Graduate at NileDutch. Afterward, they joined Capgemini Invent as a Management Consultant in Strategy & Transformation from 2015 to 2018. Moving into the maritime industry, Keshia then became a Tender Engineer for Van Oord's Offshore Wind and Dredging sectors from 2019 to present. Additionally, they held several positions at YoungShip Belgium, including Vice Chairwoman of the Board and Chairwoman of the Board. Currently, they serve as the President of YoungShip International, connecting members globally.

Keshia J. has a strong education background with a focus on marine technology and shipping management. Keshia obtained a Bachelor's Degree (cum laude) in Engineer Marine Technology from Delft University of Technology in 2012, and went on to earn a Master's Degree (cum laude) in the same field from the same university in 2015. Additionally, they completed a minor in Management of Industrial Production in 2009. Keshia also briefly attended Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2009, where they pursued a Master's degree in Engineer Marine Technology: Shipping Management. Apart from their formal education, Keshia has obtained various certifications, including Contractual Awareness, Fast Forward Leadership, Big Data Coach, and Lean Bronze. Keshia has also undergone safety training in areas such as BOSIET, EBS Emergency Breathing System, and Escape Chute & Norwegian Suit.
