Mike Sherman

Mike Sherman is the VP for Institutional Effectiveness & Board Professional at Youngstown State University. Mike was previously a consultant at HigherEd4U from January 2017 to January 2018. Prior to that, they were a professor at the University of Akron from June 2010 to December 2016. Mike also served as the Vice President for Innovation & Economic Development: COO UA Research Foundation at The University of Akron from June 2010 to December 2016. Before that, they were the Vice Provost at The Ohio State University from January 2005 to May 2010.

Mike Sherman completed a Bachelor's degree in Health Teacher Education from Ohio University. Mike then completed a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Ball State University. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
