Susan Torres Lora

Susan Torres Lora has a diverse work experience. Susan started working at Global Child Care Services in 2005 as a Registered Early Childhood Educator and kindergarten teacher. Susan continued in this role until April 2018. From April to September 2018, Susan worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Budget Planning Branch at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. In September 2018, they transitioned to the role of Administrative Assistant in the Financial Management Advisory Services Branch, where they worked until March 2023. At the same organization, Susan also served as the Acting Salary Management & Reporting Officer from October 2021 to July 2022. In November 2018, they joined Younique Products as an Independent Younique Presenter, and in March 2023, they took on the role of Brand Manager at the same company.

Susan Torres Lora began their education journey in 1998 at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where they pursued Early Childhood Education until 2000. Susan then transferred to Carleton University, earning their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Child Studies from 2000 to 2002. Following this, Susan completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Primary/Junior education at the University of Ottawa from 2002 to 2003. In June 2003, they obtained their OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) certification from the Ontario College of Teachers.
