Your Black Matters (YBM) is a global initiative dedicated to inspiring, amplifying, and uplifting the Black race through education, opportunity, and transformation.

Founded in 2020 as a podcast and storytelling platform, YBM has evolved into a transformative educational movement. Since 2022, we have begun providing direct support to bright, financially challenged students, helping them pursue university education while gaining hands-on, real-world experience through our Parallel Path Program.

Our approach is simple yet powerful: while pursuing their degrees, students also develop business and leadership skills that prepare them to contribute to their communities immediately after graduation.

The program has been mostly self-funded, sustained by the dedication of its founders and a few generous supporters who share our belief that education and opportunity are the foundation for generational change.

We are now seeking strategic partners, donors, and organizations who are passionate about transforming lives through education, innovation, and shared purpose — and who want to see scalable, measurable impact across Africa and the diaspora.
