Your First is a bold, creative, and unapologetically people-focused concept events company, redefining how the industry connects, collaborates, and drives positive change.

We don't just run events - we build platforms, spark action, and bring communities together.

Current Projects:

YESS - The Events Sustainability Podcast
Our mission to drive real sustainability in events. YESS is an industry podcast focused on actionable change-not greenwashing. In 2026, YESS will also launch as a physical event, bringing together workshops, panels, and Green Action Labs to give attendees practical tools for creating a greener, smarter events industry.

DCA - Diverse Cumbria Awards
Now in its 8th year, DCA celebrates the individuals and organisations championing equality, diversity, and inclusion in Cumbria. It's about recognising real people making real change, not just ticking boxes.

DMChina - Digital Marketing China
A dedicated event for businesses looking to crack the Chinese market through digital marketing. DMChina is a mix of panels, workshops, and expert insights designed to help brands go beyond guesswork and actually connect with Chinese audiences.

BtB - Beyond the Brochure
Our fresh take on venue and supplier showcases. BtB runs immersive city tours for event planners and buyers - bringing venues and local suppliers to life in real time. Less brochure, more experience. It's about cutting the faff and building genuine connections that lead to bookings.

Drinks Networking
A monthly no-pressure meet-up for the events and hospitality industry. One drink, one connection at a time. Different venues, new faces, and a community - driven way to grow your network - without the awkwardness.

At Your First, we believe in experience over ego, collaboration over competition, and progress over perfection.

Let's create something different. Let's create your first.
